VILLAS > The Suites
The four adults-only Suites at Bluefields Bay are designed with couples in mind, defined by their deep verandahs — outdoor sanctuaries with private soaking tubs overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Each Suite is an extra-large open-plan studio with a private bar, seating area, large vanity, and indoor/outdoor shower, plus a separate enclosed toilet room. With a maximum occupancy of two, the Suites offer a more intimate scale than the villas — ideal for honeymoons, anniversaries, and short Caribbean retreats. Suite guests dine at The Treehouse, our elevated Jamaican restaurant and bar, and share an infinity-edge pool with sweeping views.
The Suites at Bluefields Bay are four adults-only freestanding cottages perched above Bluefields Beach — each defined by a deep verandah with its own private soaking tub overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Inside, every Suite is an extra-large open-plan studio: a private bar, a seating area, a large vanity, and an indoor/outdoor shower flow as a single space, with only a discreet enclosed toilet room set apart.
With a maximum occupancy of two and an architectural premise built around couples, the Suites offer a smaller and more intimate scale than the villas — well-suited to honeymoons, anniversaries, and short Caribbean retreats. Suite guests dine at The Treehouse, our elevated Jamaican restaurant and bar, and share an infinity-edge pool with sweeping bay views.
The deep verandah is the defining architectural feature of every Suite at Bluefields Bay. It’s an outdoor sanctuary in the truest sense — a wide covered porch large enough to function as the suite’s primary living space, with a private soaking tub set against the railing facing the Caribbean. Most guests find that they spend more time on the verandah than inside, which is precisely how the Suites are designed to be used.
Inside, the open-plan studio is a deliberate choice: the bar, seating area, vanity, and indoor/outdoor shower are arranged as a single living space rather than divided into rooms. Only the toilet is enclosed in a separate small space, which is the architectural intent — privacy where it matters, and openness everywhere else.
The result is a suite that lives much larger than its footprint suggests, with sightlines that flow directly from the bed through the studio to the verandah and beyond, out to the sea. For couples who appreciate architecturally intentional spaces, the Suites offer one of the most distinctive layouts at any luxury property in Jamaica.
Suite guests dine at The Treehouse — Bluefields Bay’s elevated Jamaican restaurant and bar, set above the gardens with views over the bay. The kitchen serves a daily-changing menu reflecting the chef’s interpretation of seasonal Jamaican ingredients: fresh-caught fish from the South Coast, tropical produce from the surrounding region, and traditional Jamaican techniques rendered in a contemporary register.
Dietary requirements are handled through the preference profile completed before arrival, so the menu accommodates allergies, restrictions, and stated preferences without requiring guests to flag anything on arrival. Three meals daily are served at The Treehouse for Suite guests; the bar is open to all villa and suite guests for coffee and drinks throughout the day. Most guests find that The Treehouse becomes the social heart of their stay.
A shared infinity-edge pool sits above Bluefields Beach, oriented so that the water’s edge appears to dissolve into the sea below. The pool is shared across the four Suites, which keeps the scale intimate — at full occupancy, the pool serves up to eight guests, never more.
The infinity edge is positioned to catch the late-afternoon light, making it one of the property’s most photographed sunset spots. For Suite guests who want an alternative to the beach itself or to their private verandah tubs, the pool offers a third water option — and the small shared scale makes it feel exclusive rather than communal.
The Suite all-inclusive package is structured differently from the villas: the four Suites share a dedicated team rather than each having a private one, and dining is at The Treehouse rather than in-villa. Included: all meals at The Treehouse, unlimited beverages and snacks, use of the shared infinity-edge pool, non-motorized watersports, tennis, Club MoBay VIP airport services, and all government taxes. Laundry, spa, motorized watersports, scuba, and off-property excursions are at additional cost. Nanny service is not available for Suite stays. See full inclusions at our What’s Included page.
The Suites suit couples who want a Caribbean retreat with a social dimension — shared pool, communal dining at The Treehouse, the easy rhythm of a boutique property where other guests are nearby. Honeymoons and anniversaries are common, but so are long weekend escapes and couples who want the luxury villa experience without committing to a full week. The adults-only structure also makes the Suites an attractive choice for couples who prefer not to share a property with families with young children.
For couples wanting more space and a fully private team, Milestone Cottage and Cottonwood Cottage are the natural villa alternatives. See our couples page for more on Bluefields Bay for couples, including which accommodation suits which kind of trip best.
